September Saturday OpenCoffee Dublin: 13/9/2008

The poll is now closed and there was actually a tie.  I flipped a coin and so Saturday, September 13th will be our first weekend OpenCoffee Dublin.  We’ll be headed to NYG in the IFSC: http://www.nyg.ie/  OpenCoffee will begin around 10:30 and will go until about 12:30 or so, but it’s quite laid-back.

Please feel free to come along, bring a friend, etc.  If you’ve never been to OpenCoffee before, now is a great time to go and meet new people, as there are lots of folks who haven’t been able to make the regular Thursday OpenCoffees.

One additional note: there is a special interest around doing something with alt.net.  We’re using this OpenCoffee to have some discussions around that and see who might be interested in having regular meetups for alt.net developers.

It’s always helpful when people leave their names / interests in the comments section so that people have an idea of who might be attending - feel free to do that below.

Thanks and see you soon.

Mmm..I missed the event. I could do Saturdays in the future. I met David Laribee and Jeremy Miller (initiators of the Alt.NET movement) at an architecture workshop in Colorado a few weeks ago, by the way. Glad to hear people over here are interested to do something about Alt.NET.
