Dakota is a Win

I just got back from our first OpenCoffee at Dakota with 30 other OpenCoffee attendees.  The feedback on the venue has been fantastic.  People really liked the large, open space and the city centre location.  And the fact that it was only OpenCoffee-teers there made it very easy to find people and catch up with them.

Thanks to little black card for a great overview of their organization and for handing out cards to everyone.

The bar in the middle was a great space to prop up a laptop and show off what you’re working on, and we had a few nice demos from people like Echodio.

Thanks again to everyone for attending, and we’ll see you in May at Dakota.

+1 on that, Dakota works very well indeed as a networking venue. That was by far the best OpenCoffee I’ve seen yet - plenty of interesting tech conversations with plenty of folks.

Lots of fun, though I was wrecked tired for it :) Timing and venue were great, might try to make it up from Galway for a future one.
